Heather and Kirk were married on a beautiful March day at one of Washington, D.C.’s most iconic venues—Meridian House. Nestled just off 16th Street NW, this historic European-style mansion is always a favorite of ours. With its timeless architecture, lush gardens, and grand interior spaces, it never fails to provide a picture-perfect backdrop for a wedding day filled with elegance and charm.
From the moment guests arrived, they were welcomed by the stately beauty of the home’s private courtyard and the warmth of early spring sunshine. The ceremony took place in the picturesque Linden Grove, where the couple exchanged vows surrounded by towering trees and historic stonework—truly a magical setting for saying “I do.”
Inside, the celebration continued with cocktails and an elegant reception. Meridian House is known not only for its architectural beauty, but also for the way it sparks conversation. With its curated art collection, grand fireplaces, and old-world ambiance, it’s the perfect venue for couples wanting to give their guests an unforgettable D.C. experience—especially for those traveling in from out of town.

Soft floral arrangements by Petalos DC brought warmth and texture to every corner, while carefully selected rentals from Perfect Settings added just the right touch of refinement. Every detail was thoughtfully curated by the team at Blue Sapphire Events, creating a seamless and stylish experience from beginning to end.
Windows Catering delighted guests with a beautifully presented menu, while the dance floor stayed full all night thanks to Dan Goldman Events and DJ Ricardo.
