Gabrielle and George had the most romantic ballroom wedding at the Westin Annapolis. Gabrielle had such a beautiful vision for her and George’s special day and the entire event was breath-taking. From my initial meeting with Gabrielle, I was struck by how absolutely selfless and caring she was. She spoke so highly of George who is a very busy lawyer and I loved learning about how they met and eventually decided to take the leap into becoming Mr. and Mrs. Vaughan!
The event was filled with candlelight, exquisite flower designs, lush drapery, and warm up-lights to enhance the space. The color palette was blush, gold, and champagne and the flowers were some of the most beautiful designs I have ever seen! I searched endlessly for a floral designer who could perfectly create the look Gabrielle was looking for and we struck gold when we found Ann, from Ann’s Garden in Bel Air, MD.
The event was such a beautiful celebration of love and included an emotional ceremony where the couple exchanged their own vows. George’s expression when seeing Gabrielle for the first time was definitely one for the books and you could tell just how much he loved her and would remember this moment for the rest of his life.
The reception at their Westin Annapolis wedding was filled with dancing and speeches from numerous members of the family including a speech given by Gabrielle’s father accompanied by his brothers who all promised to be there and shield the couple from any hardships that may come their way. It was a beautiful moment and I will forever remember the love that radiated from that room.
