Set against the historic charm and European-style architecture of Meridian House in Washington, DC, this wedding was a beautiful blend of romantic details and bold sophistication. Designed in a timeless palette of blush, sage green, and black, the celebration perfectly balanced softness with a touch of drama—making every detail feel both refined and inviting.
From concept to execution, Blue Sapphire Events masterfully designed and planned the entire wedding, weaving thoughtful details throughout the day. One of the most breathtaking elements was the floral design by Leroy French Flowers. With a focus on organic shapes and lush textures, the arrangements incorporated soft blush roses, trailing greenery, and pops of deeper tones for contrast. These florals created an ethereal garden aesthetic that felt perfectly at home in the venue’s historic surroundings.
Inside the house, dinner was served in candlelit elegance. Spilled Milk Catering curated a culinary experience that delighted the senses, while BBJ La Tavola’s printed linens brought richness and dimension to the reception tables. The textured patterns added visual interest and complemented the florals beautifully, tying together the soft color palette with a modern twist.
Guests were treated to custom honey jar favors, a sweet and personal thank-you that reflected the couple’s thoughtful attention to detail. Each jar featured a custom label and signage designed by Designs by Allison Rene, adding a bespoke element to the overall guest experience.
The celebration came to life under romantic lighting designed by Elegance & Simplicity, while Bela Sono Music kept the dance floor lively throughout the night. Every heartfelt moment and artful detail was beautifully captured by Jillian Bob Photography, whose documentary-style approach allowed the story of the day to unfold naturally and authentically.
